We are not your typical Structural Engineers, with a strong eye for good design, form and material selection we work tirelessly to bring highly creative solutions to your projects. We specialise in making your ideal homes, offices or other grand structures a reality. We can join your design process at any point to help it come together, be it at the ‘back of an envelope’ stage or the contractors breaking the ground stage it is never too soon or too late to get us involved. We know that anything is structurally possible and pride ourselves in proving it.
Design.
We enjoy taking your ideas through several iterations to that exciting and tangible final proposal ready for planning approval and construction.
Gritstone Structural Design offers a full package from first meeting, to surveys, initial design stages and iterative design consultations until the final design is agreed on and ready for submitting to your local planners.
We can deal with the whole planning application and building control process as well.
Engineering.
Structural Engineering calculations and designs are our speciality. If you have the ideas or the plans and need these brought to reality we can help out.
Gritstone Structural Design produce structural calculations that are suitable for both submission to Building Inspectors and use by contractors for the fabrication and construction of the final project.
We can deal with the whole planning application and building control process as well.
Remedial.
Gritstone Structural Design are on hand when older structures start to show signs of deterioration or failure. We are also there for you when new dreams are not quite working out.
We will carry out a thorough survey and appraisal of the structure and report back to you outlining the causes and possible solutions.
We can then provide our Structural Design and Engineering services to help you return to normal or proceed with the grand dreams.
